DIY Bird Bath
This past month, we took some various dishes and made different DIY Bird bath arrangements. This project is easy to customize with whatever you have around the house. Although it’s an easy project, I’ve listed the step by step directions below.
Supplies needed:
- Various glass or ceramic dishes (plates, cups, bowls)
- Super Glue
Step one- Take Inventory
Before making a bird bath or bird feeder, take inventory of what you have around the house. We found assorted plates, bowls, cups and other glass containers. Lay them out on the table or in a box to go through later.
Step Two- Start Stacking
Try different design ideas, stacking various dishes on each other to see if you like the look. Don’t try to glue anything quite yet.
Step Three- Glue It
Once you’re certain of your bird bath design, you can start the glue process. We used Gorilla Glue (affiliate link) and so far it’s held up pretty good. You can start from the bottom and work you’re way up or vice versa.
Step Four- Complete
And there you have it, your very own custom bird bath to set in your garden! Birds love baths so this a great addition to a bird feeding station!

We also took various cups and saucers, super glued them for these cool cup and saucer bird feeders. If you don’t have a big enough cup or bowl for the top of your dish stack, you can use a tea cup to make a bird feeder and the birds will still love it!
